Trying to get a sense of where to go for my first photo shoot, i made a mind map putting down my final ideas and where to go from here. I think it is clear that i want to include models being submerged into an element, at first i was thinking about shadows but after some thought, i have decided to have models submerged into a bath of coloured water. I am planning to research some images and photographers who use water to consume their subjects.
My models will be using a blank expression to symbolise media's control over their choices and obsession with technology. The lack of emotion in the image will signify that they are forming (mutating) into something they are not. - links to the previous research on the future well-being of people due to digital media. I will be completing some more research into blank expression and other effects which this can create in photography.
My next steps are to find some inspiration for shoots involving water and to carry out some photographer research.
